20160328-IMG_1378Dagens billede: En messevin fundet i Nairobi lufthavn. Jeg er vild med kors-symbolet og den enkle etiket, men har ikke turdet at smage på vinen endnu! Den er tilsat alt muligt mærkeligt, der normalt ikke befinder sig i vin. Almen anbefaling: Nyd alkohol med måde.

God weekend

  1. You must be “Mystic Marina” or how else did you know that I have beside me a large glass of a very smooth red as I read my emails!!! You see I’m retired from work now and it seems that everyday is like a weekend! Seriously though, I enjoy reading your posts; they keep me focused on my own well-being.
I recently watched a television programme about Eddie Izzard who recently ran 27 marathons in 27 days raising money (nearly £3 million) for “Sport Relief”. He completed them all in South Africa where his hero, Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years. One of Nelson Mandela’s quotes was: IT ALWAYS SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE, UNTIL IT’S DONE. And that’s how Eddie Izzard kept himself going but just think of the motivation that kept Nelson Mandela going in prison for all of those years!

    • Thank you very much ‘Mystic Ashley’ for sharing your thoughts: Everyday like a weekend sounds wonderful. I also believe that enjoying yourself is healthy 🙂
Izzard? Fantastic feat and cause. And: That just goes to show, that some are very fortunate; have bodies that can endure almost inhuman stress. Most of us cannot and hence have to care of ourselves mixing pleasure with a little bit of ‘taking care of well-being’on an everyday basis.
Have a happy weekend – every day, Marina

      • 1-we used to have a TV personality Mystic Meg, who could see into the future.
2-Eddie Izzard is a well known comedian. This was his latest attempt at the 27 marathons but it was definately mind over matter that helped him succeed.
3-everyday like a weekend does have its drawbacks. Keeping motivation going can be a problem.

  2. Thank you, I agree with what you say about an “event” although I have been using the word “goal” but sometimes “goal” creates too big a challenge (“without goals we die”)! I’m sure we could continue with this subject but for now and in this place I wish you a wonderful weekend.
